23ID (Warsaw, Poland)
AKA Bujalex, releases yet another great example of experimental electronica and random noise in one great package. Amidst short poems lie great masterpieces so varied in textures and sounds that one is taken on a rollercoater ride in all directions and is quite a refreshing experience. Quirky sounds pop up on 'Warsaw Freestyle' and make it a humorous piece reminiscent of an old Matmos track. Ghul and Odzinoko are dark and mysterious pieces with jittery drums and echoed sounds creating an atmosphere not far from a night at your favorite goth club. All in all, the varied sounds and interesting rhythms balanced with the deconstructed beats create an enjoyable and autonomous album.
